Easy Strawberry Cheesecake Ball

Strawberry Cheesecake Ball Dessert | Cooking on the Front Burner

Today's recipe reminds me of my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter Emily because it is pink (underneath those yummy mini chocolate chips)!  She loves everything pink.  One day I was with my daughter picking her up from day care and I said Nana has a gift for you back at the house and the first thing out of her mouth was "is it pink?"  Too darn cute and yes, it just happened to be that color!  She was thrilled.  So when I was making this Strawberry Cheesecake Ball, I had Miss Em on the brain.  Not only would she love to dig in but it is the "correct" color!  So if your favorite color is pink (or even if not), head over to  Real Housemoms where you will find me sharing my monthly recipe.

Triple Berry Honey Bruschetta

Triple Berry Bruschetta | Cooking on the Front Burner

Let's face it if you are a food blogger - some days go really great and others so-so.  Sometimes a recipe is a flop, not what you imagined and back to the drawing board or it turns out what you envisioned and tastes great!   Some days your lighting - well sucks - and other days the gods are smiling down at you (to provide that great light!)  Today was one of those I "love" blogging days (believe me I have the I "don't love" blogging days).  So I'm super excited to share this  Triple Berry Honey Bruschetta today - not only does it come together quickly and taste great but I'm hoping you enjoy the pretty pictures too!

Easy Raspberry Mango Iced Tea

Raspberry Mango Iced Tea

Time to quench your thirst with this super easy Raspberry Mango Iced Tea!  It really hits the spot when you are looking for a tasty beverage during these summer months. While I was making this, all I could picture was me sitting on an old fashioned porch in the south surrounded by hanging ferns with a slight breeze.  Doesn't that sound like heavenly?  Instead I'm in the midwest on a deck looking out over some pine trees!  Either way this tea is sure to have you relaxing in no time.

Chopped Greek Panzanella Salad

Chopped Greek Panzanella Salad | Cooking on the Front Burner

Believe it or not, yesterday here in the upper midwest it was 88 degrees!  And I'm not complaining!  It was wonderful to be outside to soak up the sun and warmth.  Of course being that warm, there was no way I wanted to heat up the house with the oven or stove so we had a simple dinner of this Chopped Greek Panzanella Salad and some grilled chicken kabobs (those I just marinated in some Greek Dressing with a bit of mayo and additional Greek seasoning).  It was perfect and we even ate outside on the deck.  The DIY Guy loved this so I'm thinking this salad will be making a repeat appearance soon!

Bourbon Bread Pudding

Bourbon Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce

Place your bets folks!  The Kentucky Derby is in a few days and we're celebrating with a Bourbon Bread Pudding with a Bourbon Cream Sauce!  This dessert is sure to be a winner in the Run for the Roses and how appropriate we are making our recipe with Four Roses Bourbon!  I received a bottle to either make a traditional recipe (i.e., Mint Julep, etc.) or come up with my own creation.  Since I like to tinker in the kitchen, I decided to try a dessert and came up with a bread pudding.  I'm glad I did as this recipe shows, places and most definitely wins!
