Raise your hand if you love chocolate…. and especially if it is made into a nice, chewy, fudgy brownie. I came across this recipe while going through my 4 years’ worth of Cooking Light magazines. I was excited because it said one brownie was only 147 calories… well then I read the serving size… the 8×8 pan was to be cut into 16 squares. I wanted them a little bigger so I decided to cut the pan into ninths and each square is now 261.333333333 (maybe more 3’s but my calculator doesn’t go that far!) Still for that calorie count, I think it is pretty reasonable – right 🙂 ?
I would suggest to pull the pan out of the oven when a toothpick still has a few crumbs sticking to it. That will ensure the fudgy texture.
