Best of the Weekend and Back to School Snacks

Stay Connected with Cooking on the Front Burner

What a whirlwind of a week and I'm so glad the weekend is here!  Just coming off a week's vacation which was great but now I need a vacation from my vacation.  Do you know what I mean? Ever feel that way??  Going back to my hometown in upstate NY is a foodie delight!  We ate, at not one but two Italian restaurants.  There is nothing like getting a plate of 'homemades' and a slice of pizza pie!  Then we traveled to the DIY Guy's folks in PA and went to NJ for clams and lobster... oh yea, the diet starts now!

Enough about me - so glad you are here!  I would be curious to what your hometown is know for food-wise.  Leave me a comment - who knows we may be roaming around the states in the coming years!

We are looking forward to seeing what you have for us this week.  Remember your hosts will have their own features - be sure to stop by to see them all!

Your hosts are:

The most viewed link-up was from Unoriginal Mom with this sunset art work made with pallets.  I really like this!  I might need to find a spot to hang one of my own.

Sorry kids if you are reading this but either school has started or about to :)  How would you like to come home to some of these???
