Today it was 95 degrees...not a day to heat up the kitchen. John was out on the Mississippi all day fishing with Kristina and Benj so when he came home, I whipped up some burgers. These were doctored up with minced shallots, minced cremini mushrooms (the rest cooked for a topping), Penzey's spicy salt, worcestershire sauce and some S&P.
Shaped in 1/3 lb. patties, grilled and topped with swiss cheese
Nothing liked a grilled bun too...
John enjoyed his dinner and his day of fishing!
