I'm Strong to the Finich...

...cause I eats my spinach

Last night we used up the last of the spinach from the Mother's Day luncheon.  It was also a good night to grill out a steak.  I'm sure most people have made spinach salad and I found this dressing recipe that used celery seeds.  It was delicious.

 We used this seasoning for the rib eye



Nice, quick dinner - 4 stars!
Spinach Salad Serves: up to 8 Calories: NA Prep Time to Table: 15 minutes
Recipe : Adapted from web

Ingredients:
 -Spinach (as desired)
-Cooked eggs sliced (2)
-Bacon, cooked and crumbled (3 slices)
-Fresh mushrooms sliced (1/4 cup)
 -Red onion sliced thin (about 1 slice separated)

Dressing:
-2 tbls chopped onion
-2/3 cup sugar
-1 tsp salt
-1 cup vegetable oil
 -1/3 cup cider vinegar
-1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
-1 tsp celery seeds
-1 tbl Dijon mustard

Preparation:
1. The above salad ingredients served 2 of us – adjust for more servings. Arrange on separate plates
2. Combine the dressing ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (do not refrigerate as it will thicken too much – make right before serving)
3. Drizzle salad dressing over spinach
