Coffee Klatch Time

definition:  a casual social gathering for coffee and conversation

Earlier this week we welcomed our new administrator to work.  We had a little food, coffee and conversation to start the day off.

This recipe came from my friend Anna - back in the day we spent many mornings at each other's New York kitchens - the kids would play and we would visit.  The kids were happy and we were happy--aren't we always happy when our kids are --either age 5 or 25? :-)

I don't have a tube pan that has a removable center piece so John and I carefully used some spatulas to remove and *whew* it worked!

Luckily there was some leftover to bring home... John was excited about that and gave it a 5 star rating!
