Steak with Mushroom Gravy

Tonight's recipe tasted so good and really hit the spot on this cold wintry day - Steak with Mushroom Gravy. 

Starting to prep... have you ever used your egg slicer for mushrooms?  It works pretty slick; it easy and you end up with uniform sliced mushrooms

The steak browns up in about 4-5 minutes over medium-high heat and I like the PAM buttered flavor: 
  Here the mushrooms have been sauted and the broth and wine are added in:

Dinner is served... 4 stars!

Steak with Mushroom Gravy Serves: 4 Calories: NA Prep Time to Table: 30 minutes
-1 lb sirloin steak cut in ¾” cubes
-PAM Butter cooking spray (or regular)
-1 Tbl butter
 -1 Tbl minced shallots
-1 Tsp minced garlic
-8 oz. baby bella mushrooms, sliced
 -1 Tbl soy sauce
-3 Tbl flour
-1 cup beef broth
-1/2 cup dry red wine
-1/2 Tsp pepper
-1/4 Tsp salt
-egg noodles (about 2 cups uncooked)

1. Cook noodles according to package
2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray; add steak and cook 5 minutes, browning all sides. Remove from pan and cover.
3. Melt butter in pan; add shallots and mushrooms (spray with more PAM) and sauté 3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce. Sprinkle the flour over mixture; stir constantly and cook for 1 minute.
4. Combine wine and beef broth and whisk into skillet until well combined; bring to boil and cook until thickened (about 2 minutes). Return steak to pan and cook until heated through (about 1 minute).
5. Serve over egg noodles
